Very windy conditions added an extra challenge for golfers in the annual Pro-Am Golf hosted by the Britton Country Club last week Tuesday, but pro Josh Rackley topped a field of 20 professionals with a three-under-par 65 over the 18 holes.

Honkers Get Region Wins

The Claremont Legion baseball team, which does not graduate a player from this year’s roster, gave an inkling of things to come by winning its first two games in the Region 1B tournament played in Webster last week Wednesday through Friday.

Fitting Finale For U12 Club

The Britton U12 baseball team put an exclamation mark on an impressive season by sweeping a pair of doubleheaders in the past week and ending its season with a 33-5-1 record.
