The Claremont Honker Midget team (13U) won the Three Rivers League Tournament Championship last weekend at the seasonending tournament in Leola. The Honkers avenged their loss in last year’s championship by defeating defending champion Frederick by a score 13-5. Claremont then beat Bath 13-2 in Sunday’s championship game. The Claremont Midgets also won the regular season league crown. Team members in front left to right are Trey Smith, Carter Glines, Nick Cutler, Case Reints, Nate Schuller, and Noah Scepaniak. Honker Nines Tourney-Bound

The Claremont Legion baseball team split its final regular season twin bill with Big Stone City in Ortonville, MN, last week Wednesday and will meet Sisseton in the first round of the Region 1B tournament in Webster today (Wednesday).
