The Britton U12 baseball team swept a doubleheader from Groton 6-5 and 10-6 last week Wednesday and then split a twin bill with Aberdeen Joacobson on Friday, posting a 2-1 win and dropping a 6-3 decision.

Claremont’s Legion baseball team faced some stiff competition in season-opening action last weekend and picked up a win in three starts in a tournament in Milbank.
Applications are now available for the 2022 East River, West River, Black Hills, Custer State Park, Refuge and Muzzleloader Deer seasons.
Four Britton-Hecla golfers will compete in the state tournament in Rapid City on Monday and Tuesday.
Aidan Fredrickson of Britton-Hecla took a handoff from Collin Beaner in the 800 relay during the recent Region 1B track meet. The B-H 400, 800, and 1600 relays competed at the state meet held at Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls last weekend.
McKaelyn Zuehlke passed the baton to Sterling Mertens in the 400 relay during the recent Region 1B track meet. The Lady Braves quartet just missed qualifying for the state meet.
