The Langford Area volleyball squad lost a pair of matches during the past week, falling to a strong Northwestern club in straight sets on Thursday and dropping a four-set decision to Leola-Frederick last week Tuesday.
Britton-Hecla’s Sterling Brassfield powered this spike attempt past a Webster Area defender during the Lady Braves’ homecoming match on Thursday.
The Britton-Hecla volleyball squad dropped a pair of hard-fought matches in the past week, but Coach Megan Ochsner felt her squad is on the right track.
Britton-Hecla quarterback BoDell Davidson eluded a Waverly-South Shore defender and looked downfield for a receiver. Davidson passed for 246 yards, ran for 144, and passed or ran for a total of seven touchdowns in the Braves’ 52-14 homecoming win.
