Knebel A Fort Sisseton Fixture For 24 Years
LeRon Knebel says he can only watch so many episodes of “Gunsmoke” before he gets bored. At age 79, you’d expect Knebel to have mostly taken up the rocking chair and to be quietly enjoying his golden years. But not so for this well-known Marshall County resident. In fact, Knebel is in the midst of 24 summers working for the South Dakota State Parks and is still enjoying every minute of it.

Storley Says Goodbye After 35 Years Teaching
Every spring our area high school graduates are celebrated as they finish a chapter of their lives and move on. Another group that gets less attention is the retiring educators who so importantly impact the lives of those students. This year only one teacher retired from the Britton-Hecla and Langford Area schools. With the end of this school year, B-H teacher Vonda (Luze) Storley is bidding her students goodbye after 35 years of educating.

Poll: TRUMP FIGHTS FOR HIS BIRTHDAY
President Donald Trump recently hosted a UFC mixed martial arts event on the White House South Lawn as part of a celebration tied to his 80th birthday and the nation's upcoming 250th anniversary. Some people view it as no different than other entertainers and performers who have appeared at White House events under various presidents. Others believe a professional fighting event was not an appropriate use of the White House grounds. What do you think?
I have no problem with it. Presidents have hosted many types of entertainers and public events at the White House.
It was unusual, but fine.
I think it was inappropriate to hold a UFC event at the White House.
