Every spring our area high school graduates are celebrated as they finish a chapter of their lives and move on. Another group that gets less attention is the retiring educators who so importantly impact the lives of those students. This year only one teacher retired from the Britton-Hecla and Langford Area schools. Holler And Deutsch Elected to LA Board
In Tuesday’s Langford Area School Board election, the incumbent and one challenger were chosen to fill the two vacating seats. Challenger Fallon Deutsch was the top vote-getter followed by incumbent Morgan Holler. The other candidate on the ballot was Scott Smith. Deutsch received 200 votes, Holler 192 and Smith 67. Voter turnout averaged about 40% across the four precincts with the Langford precinct seeing 57% of registered voters coming to the polls. All Election Results are unofficial until the Canvass conducted by the School Board at their July Meeting. 06/07/2023 12:00 AM
