Golfers Head To State Meet

Four Britton-Hecla golfers will compete in the state tournament in Rapid City on Monday and Tuesday.
Aidan Fredrickson of Britton-Hecla took a handoff from Collin Beaner in the 800 relay during the recent Region 1B track meet. The B-H 400, 800, and 1600 relays competed at the state meet held at Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls last weekend.
McKaelyn Zuehlke passed the baton to Sterling Mertens in the 400 relay during the recent Region 1B track meet. The Lady Braves quartet just missed qualifying for the state meet.

Eleven Britton-Hecla and Langford Area track athletes competed in the state track meet at Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls Thursday through Saturday.

Golfers Earn State Spots

Four Britton-Hecla golfers punched their tickets to the state golf meet at the Region 1B tournament held at Cattail Crossing Golf Course in Watertown on Monday.
The Langford Area medley relay quartet qualified for the state track meet by placing second in the Region 1B meet held in Britton on Thursday. Team members from left to right are Kalen Godel, Ben Suther, Jesse Keough, and Ben Gustafson.
Kalen Godel anchored the state-qualifying medley relay team for Langford Area and also qualified for the state meet in the 800 and 1600-meter runs.
Jesse Keough of Langford Area qualified for the state track meet in the 300-meter hurdles.
LA Qualifies Four For State

Four Langford Area tracksters advanced to the state track meet in Sioux Falls Thursday through Saturday this week by placing among the top 24 in the state during regular season action.
