The Britton-Hecla Board of Education hired a new teacher, accepted several resignations, approved administrative salaries, and offered certified teacher contracts at its regular meeting on Monday.

There was plenty of inspiration to go around, along with lots of smiles and a few tears, when over 200 people participated in a 5K Fun Run/Walk organized by the Trevor Zuehlke Family and friends in Britton on Saturday.
