Dane Feldhaus of Britton-Hecla/Langford broke 100 straight targets in the High School Clay Target League National Championship in Mason, MI, on Sunday to place 26th among nearly 1800 shooters.

U10 Nine Advances To Final Eight At State

The Britton U10 and U12 baseball squads competed in state tournament play last weekend.

The U10 nine advanced to the final eight of the state tournament, while the U12 squad dropped its three contests.

In pool play the U10 team downed Hamlin 11-1 and Salem 1-0 to tie for the top spot in the pool. A coin toss determined the pool winner to be Plankinton-Mount Vernon who received the number two seed in the championship bracket. Britton did earn a spot in the final eight as the five seed.

Alexandria downed Britton 7-3 in opening play of the championship round.
