Lady Braves Coach Likes ‘Energy’ Shown By Club
Webster Area jumped out to a 31-8 halftime lead on the way to a 53-25 victory over Britton-Hecla in girls basketball play on Friday.
The Lady Braves, now 0-4, play at Deuel on Thursday in a doubleheader with the boys’ squad and travel to Langford Area on Friday with a 6:30 p.m. junior varsity start. Langford currently has no COVID restrictions for fans.
Coach MJ Hrabik’s club trailed just 14-4 after one period but was outscored 17-4 in the second stanza.
