Gymnasts Looking To Future
Britton-Hecla gymnastics coach Angela Grupe sees big things for her squad in the future after a solid performance at the state meet in Watertown on Friday.
The Lady Braves qualified as a team for the state meet for the first time in four years and finished last in the nine-team field, but the young local gymnasts showed steady progress all season.
“We had a very nice building season and will be able to climb from there at the start of next season,” said Grupe. “This team worked hard all year and got a taste of what they can accomplish. I expect big things out of this group in the coming years.”
