Tornado Sighted, Minimal Damage

Mother Nature dished out some unusual October weather last weekend with a tornado warning for the county, but this double rainbow photographed by Connie Patterson added beauty to the fall landscape.

A tornado was sighted west of Langford late Saturday afternoon.Marshall County Emergency Management Director Todd Landmark saw the funnel cloud between 416th and 417th Streets. He said tornado warning sirens did sound in Langford.“October tornadoes are very rare around here and this was not your usual shelf cloud,” said Landmark.
