There was plenty of activity at the Marshall County Healthcare Center this week as workers were busy on the $4 million renovation underway at the Britton facility. A completely new clinic is being constructed with a scheduled completion date of July 1, 2022.

Work is moving full speed ahead on the $4 million project at the Marshall County Healthcare Center in Britton.MCHC Administrator Nick Fosness said that the project is on schedule with a complete move-in date of July 1, 2022.Parts of the facility are currently operating at several locations in the community.

BAN TABULATOR MACHINES?

Three SD counties (Gregory, Haakon and Tripp) will ask voters during the June 4 primary if they should ban the use of tabulator machines in future local elections. If the measures pass, the auditor’s offices in each county would have to hand-count ballots in the Nov. 5 general election and thereafter. Do you think tabulator machines should be banned?
