Names of those involved in a Tuesday accident east of Britton have been released. William “Bill” Krafka, 83, of Havana died in the crash that occurred Tuesday morning eight miles east of Britton. Cade Roerig, 19, Eden, sustained serious injuries. 03/22/2023 12:00 AM

Lyle William Hair, 87, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023, in Wichita, KS. He was born March 31, 1935, in Britton, SD to Lyle Wilbert Hair and Dorothy Eva (Schulenburg) Hair. Lyle married Patricia Chard in Lincoln, KS on June 17, 1956. After a twenty-year distinguished career in the United States Air Force, having served overseas in the Vietnam War and earning the distinguished Flying Cross, Lyle retired from military service to become a barber serving the Lincoln community. Fatal Crash East Of Britton Tuesday

Multiple agencies responded to an accident eight miles east of Britton around 9:05 a.m. on Highway 10 Tuesday morning. According to Tony Mangan, spokesman for the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, the accident involved two vehicles, a pickup and a car. Poll: TRUMP FIGHTS FOR HIS BIRTHDAY President Donald Trump recently hosted a UFC mixed martial arts event on the White House South Lawn as part of a celebration tied to his 80th birthday and the nation's upcoming 250th anniversary. Some people view it as no different than other entertainers and performers who have appeared at White House events under various presidents. Others believe a professional fighting event was not an appropriate use of the White House grounds. What do you think?

I have no problem with it. Presidents have hosted many types of entertainers and public events at the White House.

It was unusual, but fine.

I think it was inappropriate to hold a UFC event at the White House.
