Clay Crawford of the Marshall County 4-H Sharpshooters shot a 100 with seven centers for third place in prone and a total score that gave him first place in a tournament of 204 competitors on Saturday.

Langford Area’s girls basketball team saw its season come to an end at the hands of Irene-Wakonda 53-38 in the SoDak 16 game played in Huron on Thursday.

Braves Fall In Quarterfinals

Second-seeded LeolaFrederick avenged a regular season loss and ended the Britton-Hecla boys basketball season with a 55-52 victory in the quarterfinals of the Region 1B tournament last week Tuesday.

Braves Win Big In 1B

The seventh-seeded Britton-Hecla’s boys basketball team took care of business with a 60-36 victory over 10th-seeded Great Plains Lutheran in first round play of the Region 1B tournament in Webster on Monday to put itself into a rather unique position.
