Petitions for initiated measures and amendments that may appear on the ballot in November for South Dakotans are flowing into the Secretary of State’s office. Among them is a renewed initiative to legalize adult recreational marijuana use in the state. Voters legalized medical marijuana in 2020. How would you vote on this matter?

A measure to repeal tax on groceries is headed to the ballot in November after a petition was submitted to the Sec. of State’s office last month. Would you support or oppose a proposed statewide ballot measure to eliminate the state’s 4.2% sales tax on groceries?
