NEW PROPOSED PRISON SITE

South Dakota Gov. Larry Rhoden last week announced a potential $17 million deal to acquire land for a new men’s prison in northeast Sioux Falls. The plan would also involve trading away state-owned land 15 miles south of the city that had previously been selected for the project.
