KENTON “KENT” MUELLER

The funeral service for Kenton “Kent” Mueller will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Britton. Rev. Lloyd Redhage will officiate the service. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.

Kenton Carl Mueller was born January 10, 1951 in Britton, SD to Carl and Eunice (Erbe) Mueller. He grew up on the family farm. After attending college in Watertown he enlisted in the Air Force. The service took him overseas to Germany for five years until he returned to the United States. He was honorably discharged on May 16, 1977.

Kent married Jennifer Persell in 1987. They were blessed with two children, Kendra Louise and Kullen Carl. Kent poured his heart and energy into maintaining the family farm with his brother Don for over thirty years. “There wasn’t anything Dad couldn’t fix.” He was always working on something in the shop. Kent enjoyed hosting friends and hunters that traveled to the farm. He loved sharing stories and making memories in the shop, where he spent most all of his spare time.

Kent, 72, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023 peacefully in the comfort of his home.

He is survived by his two children, grandchildren, his siblings: Peggy Helin, Judy Kubat and Patty Kelly, and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister, Nancy Harrington, and two brothers, Dennis Mueller and Don Mueller.
