David, Dawn and Becky welcomed Jacqueline DeNeal (Jackie) into their family February 13, 1988. Her biggest joy was becoming a big sister to her brothers, Alex and Logan. Family and friends were everything to Jackie.

Jackie attended Britton Helca Schools and was confirmed in the United Methodist Church in Britton.

Growing up, Jackie spent a lot of time at Wheatcrest Hills spreading her infectious laugh with the residents. She could not wait until she turned 16 to “bust through those doors” to become a CNA. She treated the residents as her own with love and respect. When she moved to Roslyn, SD for a few years she shared her smile and laugh with the residents there. She then moved to Amherst, SD and met the love of her life, Evan Robinson. They then moved to Sayre, OK where she worked various jobs. When Evan’s grandmother’s health declined they moved to Rapid City to take care of her. After Grandma passed she began working as an insurance associate for Assurant until the time of her death.

Jackie’s family grew when she became Aunty Jackie to two special little ones, twins Nirvana and Dexter. They were her babies.

Jackie’s heart was always open to new friends. She had a smile and laugh that could brighten anyone’s day. Jackie was not afraid to go to new places, try new things. She never met a stranger. Jackie showed up and the fun began.

Jackie manicured her fingernails daily with colors and decorations for different occasions. She had the patience to do diamond painting and other crafts.

Jackie passed away at her home in Rapid City May 7, 2024. She was only 36 years young.

Grateful for sharing her life are her fiancé, Evan Robinson; two special little ones, Nirvana and Dexter; her parents, David and Dawn; her sister, Becky (Aaron) Wade; her brother, Logan; the Robinson family; many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Preceding her in death is her brother, Alex; her maternal grandparents, Neil and Edythe Stiegelmeier; her parental grandparents, Jack and Margie Smith.

Condolences may be directed to the family in care of Dawn and David Smith – 1103 7th St. – Britton, SD. 57430.
