On September 15, 1946 she married Russell Jay Dull in Warner. They lived there for a time while Russell worked at the grain elevator. They later moved to Sisseton in 1948 and then to Duxbury in 1950. For many years she was the treasurer of the VFW ladies auxiliary. She had a love for music, which started by singing in a local band in Warner during her high school years. Gardening was a passion and she enjoyed adding trees, shrubs, and flowers to her yard. She was a “social butterfly” and always found joy in visiting with her many friends.
