BONNI ANN STOLSMARK
The memorial service for Bonni Ann Stolsmark will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the Langford High School Gym located at 206 Chestnut St., Langford, SD 57454. Diane Hoines will officiate the service.
Bonni Ann Stolsmark was born April 20, 1965 to Claire and Marlene (Mann) Hanson in Tecumseh, NE. She attended her early schooling in Port Hueneme, CA. The family moved to Langford in 1979, where Bonni graduated from Langford High School.
Throughout the years Bonni worked various jobs but the one she found the most joy in was working at the school in the cafeteria. She loved being a lunch lady and treated each kid special. She would remember their birthdays and surprise them with gifts or homemade cards. Most days she was seen wearing a fun shirt that would bring a smile to the kids, and adults, faces. Bonni treated each day as if it was her birthday and was always a welcoming smile and helpful hand to anyone she came across throughout the day.
Bonni married Doug Stolsmark in May 1998 and they continued to live in Langford. She was very creative and resourceful, and was known for her homemade gifts and calendars. Family was extremely important to her and her friends became family over the years. She loved to sing karaoke, watch the Minnesota Vikings and spend summers at Buffalo Lake. Bonni will be remembered for her generous heart and her fun personality.
She passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Marshall County Healthcare Center in Britton, at the age of 58.
She is survived by her husband, Doug; her daughter, Shannon (Tyler) Gauer; her grandchildren, Dawson,Tucker, Preston, Robbie, MaKenna and Makenzie; her siblings: Lori Larsen, Jerry Hanson and Billie (Tim) Ronshaugen; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughter, Jessica Goebel; her Grandma Mac and Aunt Putt.
