BETTY MUNDT

The funeral for Betty Mundt was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the First Lutheran Church of Britton. Rev. Terrill Sorensen was the officiant. Spring interment will be in the Britton Cemetery under the direction of the Price Funeral Chapel.

There was a visitation Monday, March 14 from 5-7:00 p.m. at the Price Funeral Chapel of Britton.

Betty Estella Moore was born October 1, 1925 in Dayton Township, Marshall County, South Dakota to Arthur and Anna (Schuur) Moore. She attended and graduated from Kidder High School.

On August 13, 1943, she married Roy F. Mundt and they farmed in the Kidder area. Betty worked for a time for Harvey Thayer and John Owen.

She was a member of Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church, rural Kidder, the ladies group and the Kidder American Legion Auxiliary.

Betty passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Wheatcrest Hills of Britton, SD at the age of 96.

Survivors include three daughters: Anita Patterson of Amherst; Sharon (Alan) Zoellner of Groton; Rita (David) Kramer of Mobridge; one son, Gary (Gloria) Mundt of Britton; one brother, Clarence (Lila) Moore of Normal, IL; a sister-in-law, Marlys Moore of Brookings, SD; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brother, Ray Moore; her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth (Louie) Banderet; and son-in-law, Larry Patterson.
