Lottie was born on April 20, 1951 to James and Norma (Henderson) Lemke in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. She graduated from St. Louis Park High School in 1969. After high school Lottie made her home in the Monticello area, and Lottie and Rick Nyberg were united in marriage in 1977. They made their home on Birch Lake in Elk River, MN.

There, Lottie and Rick lived, worked, and played for the next 47 years, raising three kids and their grandkids and enjoying their lives together until moving to Lake City, South Dakota together in 2021.

Lottie was the bar manager for over 30 years at the River Inn & Saloon in Monticello, MN. She loved plants, cross country skiing, bowling, trapshooting, motorcycles, dancing, pedal bikes, and a good Black Russian cocktail. Above all, Lottie loved spending time with her family and friends.

Lottie is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jeremy; her granddaughter, Michelle; and her in-laws, Lloyd “Bob” and Helen Nyberg.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rick; daughters, Georgia (Jimmy) and Amy (Matt); sisters, Shirley (Jim), Bev (Jim), Juanita (Greg); and five grandchildren, Michael (Ashlee), Mason (Jazmine), Kayla (Jordan), Callie (Gabe), and Owen (Maddie).

A celebration of life will be held for Lottie; details to be scheduled and announced at a later time.
