DAVID KRAMER
DAVID KRAMER

David (Dave) Robert Kramer, son of Robert and Leona (Lehman) Kramer, was born December 10, 1947, in Britton, SD. He grew up on his family farm with his sister, Arlene, where he thrived helping his dad for many years. He graduated from Kidder High School in 1966 and North Dakota School of Science in 1968.
Dave met the love of his life, Rita Mundt, in high school and they joined hands in marriage on April 13, 1968. He was a devoted husband to Rita whom he always greeted and left with a kiss. Dave and Rita made their home in Britton, SD and after the birth of their daughter, Michele (Shelley) they moved to Mobridge, SD, in 1969. The two later welcomed twin boys, Michael and Brian, in 1972. The family spent many weekends hunting, fishing, and camping along the river.
Staying active through working and being outdoors were things Dave never shied away from. He worked for B&R Motors as an auto mechanic, Haberer’s Implement as a tractor mechanic and later took on the role as parts manager. After the closure of Haberer’s Implement, Dave began working at Jensen Rock and Sand. Sitting still wasn’t for Dave so he began driving grain truck for Gosch Farms. When he wasn’t working in the fields, he spent his time hunting and fishing with his family, finding great joy in sharing his love for the outdoors with his children and grandchildren.
Dave is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rita, their three children, Michele (Anthony) Hoisington of Britton, SD, Michael (Jennifer) Kramer of Killarney, MB, Brian (Tara) Kramer of Mobridge, SD; sister, Arlene Fordem of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren Lindsey (Topher) Bachman, Kyle (Kyla) Hoisington, Jade (Heidi) Hoisington, Aundrea (Jason) Hill, Ethan Kramer, Fallon Kramer; 6 great grandchildren, Bryar, Blake, Baylor, Layla, Tage, Nora; and many nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Robert and Leona Kramer; parents-in-law, Roy and Betty Mundt; and nephew, Zach Fordem
