CLAUDIA MARIE GRONSETH
CLAUDIA MARIE GRONSETH

A cherished wife, mother, and friend, Claudia’s life was defined by her kindness, generosity, and her willingness to help others in any way she could. She graduated from Brampton High School in 1955 and continued her education at the St. Francis School of Nursing in Breckenridge, MN, where she earned her R.N. degree in 1958. That same year, on November 29, she married Eugene Gronseth of Britton, So. Dak. They moved to Seattle, WA in 1962 and, in 1967, built their family home in Renton, where Claudia resided for 58 years.
Claudia devoted many years to being a homemaker, raising their children, Thomas and Kimberly. When her children were older, she returned to nursing, working for 25 years at Benson Heights Rehabilitation Center in Kent, WA. After retiring in 1995, Claudia and Eugene traveled extensively across the United States and Canada in their motor home. They enjoyed visiting friends, family, touring historical sites, presidential libraries and spending several winters in Tucson, AZ.
Claudia is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Younts, son-in-law; Douglas Younts, grandchildren; Malcolm Gronseth, Tallulah Gronseth, Jillian Younts and great-grandson; Paul Sutton. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene, her son Thomas Gronseth, her brother Robert Cooper, and her parents. Graveside services for Claudia will be held at the Brampton, No. Dak. cemetery on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
Memorials may be made to The Salvation Army.
