Dennis Ellestad passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas at the age of 83.

His funeral services are pending with Olson Funeral Chapel. A full obituary will be in next week’s edition of the Marshall County Journal.

I am so sorry for your loss of our UNCLE DENNY , HE WAS SO FULL OF FUN AND INTERTAINING. I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND HIS MEMORIAL , I HAVE COVID AND LYNNELLE IS HERE SPENDING TIME WITH ME, AND WE CAME DOWN WITH COVID AND ROY ALSO DID. MY LOVE TO ALL OF YOU.WE HAVE MANY MANY GOOD MEMORIES OF HIM . LOVE TO YOU ALLL. Kari has just had knee replacement also , If she doesn't make it to the memorial that would be the reason, I know that Dennis was very much in her heart .

South Dakota voters will decide in November on a proposed constitutional amendment that would end the state’s expanded Medicaid coverage if the federal government’s share of funding for the expansion falls below 90%. The expansion, approved by voters in 2022, provides Medicaid eligibility to certain adults ages 19 to 64 with incomes up to the federal limit established by the constitutional amendment.
