Susan Brandt, 62, Minot, ND, died Thursday, August 22, 2024, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident rural Minot.

Susan Ann Palm was born August 31, 1961, the daughter of Sanford and Geraldine (Jennen) Palm, in Briton, SD. She was raised and educated in Briton. Following high school, she was a dishwasher prior to moving to Minot. In Minot she worked for Schatz Truckstop for 23 years. She then worked for a nursing home before working at the Minot Air Force Base in the dining facility. She took a lot of pride in her work.

She married Russel Brandt on August 20, 1992. They made their home in Minot. She enjoyed listening to country music and watching westerns on tv. She enjoyed the outdoors, going camping and fishing. She liked to play bingo. Family was important to her, she liked going back home to South Dakota to visit family. She enjoyed spending time with her cats.

Her loving family includes: husband of 31 years, Russell; brothers, Nester (Patty) Palm, Robert Palm, David (Tammy) Palm, Wayne (Diane) Palm, Gary Palm; Karen (Kerby) Stenvold; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins She was preceded in death by her parents; and several aunts and uncles.
