Terrence E. Spencer, loving husband, father passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024 at CHI Immanuel Hospital, Omaha, NE. org) Terrence Edward Spencer was born August 4, 1937 in Barnum, MN, the son of Newcomb and Ellen (Reilly) Spencer. He grew up in Duluth, MN and served in the US Marines. After his discharge he moved to Chicago, IL. On June 7, 1962 he was united in marriage to Virginia Ciesynski. In 1985 they moved to Lidgerwood, ND. Terrence worked for GI Enterprises, Eden, SD. After Virginia passed away, he moved to Omaha in 2004.

He enjoyed reading books and carpentry.

Terrence is survived by his son Terrence R. Spencer (Johnnie), Calumet City, IL, daughter Peggy Spencer, Omaha, NE, brothers Tom Spencer, McGregor, MN and Ted Spencer (Faye), Duluth, MN; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, sister-inlaw JoAnn Spencer He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Virginia, son Benedict, daughters Cynthia & Dionne Kathleen, sister Cathy Holmes, 2 brothers Dale & Patrick Spencer & sisterin-law Barb Spencer. Poll: END OR RETAIN EXPANDED MEDICAID COVERAGE? South Dakota voters will decide in November on a proposed constitutional amendment that would end the state’s expanded Medicaid coverage if the federal government’s share of funding for the expansion falls below 90%. The expansion, approved by voters in 2022, provides Medicaid eligibility to certain adults ages 19 to 64 with incomes up to the federal limit established by the constitutional amendment. The proposed amendment would remove that expanded coverage if the federal funding level drops below 90%. If the election were held today, how would you vote?
