This photo of the Marshall County Courthouse looks like it belongs on the front of a Christmas card, but it was taken on Wednesday, Oct. 10, when the area was blanketed by over nine inches of wet snow.
This tree on the east side of Hugh Schilling Field was an example of damage done by heavy snow last week. Hundreds of branches were stripped from trees when snow stuck to leaves and proved to be too much weight for the tree to bear.
