LADY BRAVES SPLIT MATCHES
Kennady Van Lith dug out this serve in recent Britton-Hecla volleyball play. The Lady Braves will wrap up its regular season by hosting Wilmot on Tuesday.

The Britton-Hecla volleyball squad split a pair of matches in the past week, downing North Central in four sets last week Tuesday and falling to Hamlin in straight sets on Thursday.
Coach Jenna Peters’ squad took a 14-5 record into a home match with Great Plains Lutheran last night Tuesday.  Friday the Lady Braves tangle with once-beaten Clark-Willow Lake in Clark and Tuesday will wrap up regular season play by hosting Wilmot.  Region 1A will be held Nov. 3 and 5.
“We’ve had some tough games recently but they really highlighted what we need to work on,” said Peters.  “We had some really good moments though, and I was proud of the girls.  Our goals this week and next week are to beat GPL and Wilmot so that we can win the ECC again.  Then it’s on to the region and the girls have been working really hard at practice.”
