LADY LIONS GET 13TH WIN

LADY LIONS GET 13TH WIN
Langford Area junior setter Brooklynn West is setting for hitters from top to bottom Bailey Dwight, Emily Olson and Brooke Dwight in recent volleyball play. Olson hit the kill.

The Langford Area volleyball team added a win last week Tuesday with a straight set victory over Sisseton.
The 25-20, 25-20, 25-18 win boosted the Lady Lions’ season record to 13-8 heading into a home matchup with Hitchcock-Tulare last night Tuesday.  This week LA will compete in a tournament at Miller on Saturday, travel to Groton on Monday, and host Webster Area on Tuesday.
“Back-to-back wins are nice,” said LA boss Susan Larson.  “Lizzie (Gustafson) and Emily (Olson) both had a good night at the net (Gustafson eight kills, Olson seven kills).  Setters don’t get to be in the spotlight very often but Bailey (Dwight) and Brooklynn (West) are really doing a great job this season turning every pass into an opportunity for our hitters.  Our passing has also improved this season and that’s truly been everybody’s job.”

They say they would consider policies from both parties and prioritize the needs of their constituents over party leadership. When deciding how to vote, do you seriously consider independent candidates, or do you generally vote along party lines?
