Britton-Hecla and Langford Area schools celebrated Homecoming last week, with both schools bringing plenty of creativity to their parade floats.
Britton-Hecla’s Homecoming theme was “Decades.” The 12th grade (the 80s) took first place in the float contest, followed by the 10th grade (50s) in second and the 11th grade (1770s) in third.
Langford Area celebrated with the theme “Lions Eat the Competition.” In the high school division, the 10th grade’s ice cream truck float took first place, followed by the seniors’ “Cereal” float in second and the juniors’ barbecue themed float in third. In the middle school division, the seventh grade’s s’mores float took first place, while the eighth grade’s crab boil float placed second.
