RESIDENTS INVITED TO GIVE INPUT ON MOBILE HEALTHCARE IN MC

    Marshall County Healthcare Center is seeking community input as it explores the possibility of bringing healthcare services closer to residents through a mobile health clinic.
    To gather feedback, the healthcare center will host three community listening sessions throughout Marshall County. Residents, elected officials, emergency services personnel, healthcare workers and other community members are encouraged to attend and share their perspectives on local healthcare needs.
    According to Marshall County Healthcare Center, the sessions are intended to identify barriers residents face in accessing healthcare and determine what services a mobile health clinic could provide.
    “Community input is essential as we explore ways to improve access to healthcare across Marshall County,” Marshall County Healthcare Center stated. “We want to hear directly from residents about the services they need most.”
    The three listening sessions are scheduled for:
    -Monday, Aug. 10, at 3 p.m. at the Langford Public Library.
    -Thursday, Aug. 13, at 10 a.m. at the Eden Community Building.
    -Monday, Aug. 17, at 5 p.m. in the Veblen School lunchroom.
    Each session will cover the same topics, so attendees only need to participate in one meeting. There is no cost to attend, registration is not required and all community members are welcome.
    During the sessions, participants will be asked to provide input on healthcare needs within Marshall County, challenges in accessing care and services that could be offered through a mobile health clinic. Marshall County Healthcare Center is especially encouraging participation from elected officials, emergency medical services personnel, first responders, school staff, business owners and healthcare professionals, along with area residents.
    Community members are also encouraged to share information about the listening sessions with friends, neighbors and others who may be interested in helping shape the future of healthcare services in Marshall County.
