Thirty-three Britton swimmers competed in the SD State Summer Seasonal Championship held in Watertown on Saturday and Sunday and the team brought home the Wayne Stillson Team Spirit Award for the second straight year.
The Barracudas had 20 swimmers earn High Point Awards in their age groups and Logan Landreth was first in the boys 7-8 division. Other high point placers included Cassie Taylor, third, Avery Sasker, fourth, Gray Phillips, fifth, and Siena Rapkoch, sixth, girls 6 & under; Louis Pester, fourth, boys 6 & under; Clara Trautner, eighth, girls 7-8; Zoey Block, third, Layla Landreth, fifth, girls 9-10; Beckett Rapkoch, seventh, boys 9-10; Breven Schmieg, fifth, Corven Schmieg, sixth, boys 11-12; Faustina Rapkoch, second, Rosalyn Rapkoch, third, Maggie Taylor, fifth; Ayla Sasker, sixth, and Emersyn Eimers, seventh, girls 11-12; Gabby Taylor, fifth, girls 13-14; and Aiden Strong, third, and Kylan Sasker, fifth, boys 15-16.
