SIXTEEN LANGFORD AREA LIONS GRADUATE

    Sixteen Langford Area seniors received their diplomas during the school’s 115th commencement ceremony held Saturday.
    Grads Clarissa Guy and Shaina Kleeman presented the Senior Honor Presentation, while Senior Class President Tucker Jo Hardy gave the welcome address. The class motto was “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory,” a quote from Dr. Seuss. The class flower was the maroon rose, and the class colors were maroon, gold and white.
    Members of the Langford Area Class of 2026 included Clarissa Guy, Conner Glines, Tucker Jo Hardy, Dylan Harmon, Grace Hatfield, Graydon Hurley, Kassen Keough, Shaina Kleeman, Jordyn Nickeson-Brennan, Maddox Nickeson-Brennan, Paytyn Marlow, Ethen Olson, Julian Rodriguez, Bradyn Small, Mariah Tosse and Dawson Vander Vorst.
    The Langford Area Choir performed “I Lived,” while the Langford Area Concert Band played the senior class’s favorite pep band tune, “Jenny,” along with the processional and recessional music.
    Scholarship recipients recognized during commencement included Kassen Keough, who received the Roy Pulfrey Memorial Scholarship and a Langford Evangelical Lutheran Church Scholarship. Conner Glines received the Ida Ostlund Scholarship and a Langford Evangelical Lutheran Church Scholarship. Tucker Hardy was awarded the Lloyd Dahley Scholarship, Clark Larson Scholarship, Langford Evangelical Lutheran Church Scholarship, Jessica Goebel Scholarship, Tinta Lodge Scholarship and Jerry Hanson Scholarship. Mariah Tosse received the Fossel Brothers Scholarship, Veblen Our Saviors Lutheran Church Scholarship, Rebecca Holler Scholarship and Tinta Lodge Scholarship.
    Additional recipients included Jordyn Nickeson-Brennan and Maddox Nickeson-Brennan, who each received Veblen Our Saviors Lutheran Church scholarships. Dawson Vander Vorst and Grayden Hurley each received Langford Evangelical Lutheran Church scholarships. Clarissa Guy received the Brittney Kelly Lone Scholarship and a Tinta Lodge Scholarship, while Julian Rodriguez received the Langford Student Council Leadership Scholarship.
