32 Set To Graduate
BRITTON-HECLA COMMENCEMENT SUNDAY

    Thirty-two Britton-Hecla seniors will receive their diplomas during the school’s commencement ceremony on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Britton-Hecla Arena.
    The ceremony will feature addresses from the senior class officers. Paisley Bray, class president, Peyton Pearson, vice president, and Karlie Zuehlke, secretary/treasurer, will deliver the commencement address.
    Britton-Hecla Superintendent Steve Benson will give the welcome. High School Principal Carrie James will provide acknowledgments, and Britton-Hecla Board of Education Members Kurt Zuehlke and Josh Hawkinson will present the diplomas.
    The Britton-Hecla Concert Band will perform the processional and recessional, along with “For Good” from Wicked.  A senior ensemble will also perform “Humble and Kind” by Tim McGraw. 
Members of the Britton-Hecla Class of 2026 include Austin Beck, Isaac Bennett, Cole Bodin, Corinne Bosse, Paisley Bray, Carter Dawson, Kendrix Dinger, Benjamin Folkman, Sage Ford, Landyn Fredrick, Addysen Grupe, Bryce Hawkinson, Bryce Heitkamp, Riley Hofland, Eboni Jackson, Isabel James, Olivia Johnson, Taryn Kraft, Abigail Lee, Keegan Mix, Peyton Pearson, Maxwell Purkeypile, William Richter, Calynne Speegle, Dustin Stabnow, Wyatt Strong, Ava Teveldal, Jade Tisher, Natalie Treeby, Jaxon Zuehlke, and Karlie Zuehlke.
    The class motto is, “Cherish the moments before they become memories.” Red lisianthuses are the class flowers, and the class colors are red, white, and gold.
    Sophomore ushers for the ceremony will be Kaylee Carlson, Jaelee Grupe, Ruth Moeckly, and Chaz Vietor. Junior escorts will include Carter Chapin, Emily Effling, Graham Fosness, Mataya Knecht, Madelynn Micko, Nathaniel Schuller, Marley Sundin, and Daynika Zuehlke.
    The final day of classes for B-H students will be Friday, with dismissal at 1 p.m.
