GROW South Dakota has received an $8,750 grant through the Member Impact Fund, a matching grant program of Great Plains Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines). The program supports affordable housing and community development, with over $12.9 million awarded across Alaska, South Dakota, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands this year.
Marcia Erickson, CEO of GROW South Dakota, said, “With this funding, our collaboration with Great Plains Bank continues to advance opportunities in housing and economic development. Together, we are investing in the long-term success of the communities we serve. We are grateful to Great Plains Bank and to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines for their generous matching support.”
The grant will help GROW South Dakota continue its work in housing, education, and economic development across the state. FHLB Des Moines provides funding solutions to its members to support mortgage lending, economic development, and affordable housing, while the Member Impact Fund strengthens local nonprofits and government organizations addressing community needs.
