26TH ALL-STAR GAME SATURDAY

    The 26th annual B103 All-Star Basketball Game will be played in Sisseton on Saturday.
    Doors open at noon with the girls three-point contest set for 12:30 p.m. and the girls game at 1 p.m. with the boys contest to follow.  A boys three-point contest, slam dunk contest, and a Fan Hot Shot contest are also planned.
    Local players that are confirmed as participants as of Tuesday morning were Will Richter and Karlie Zuehlke of Britton-Hecla and Paytyn Marlow of Langford Area.
    Players from Britton-Hecla, Deuel, Florence-Henry, Castlewood, Clark-Willow Lake, Groton Area, Hamlin, Langford Area, Milbank, Sisseton, Tri-State, Tiospa Zina, Waubay-Summit, Webster Area, Waverly-South Shore, and Wilmot have been invited to participate in the games.

South Dakota voters will decide in November on a proposed constitutional amendment that would end the state’s expanded Medicaid coverage if the federal government’s share of funding for the expansion falls below 90%. The expansion, approved by voters in 2022, provides Medicaid eligibility to certain adults ages 19 to 64 with incomes up to the federal limit established by the constitutional amendment.
