LA GIRLS FINISH WITH WINS

LA GIRLS FINISH WITH WINS

Langford Area’s girls basketball team picked up a pair of wins last week to tune up for the Region 1B quarterfinals last night Tuesday.
The Lady Lions rolled past Tiospa Zina 69-23 on Thursday and walloped Aberdeen Christian 69-22 last week Tuesday.
Coach Michael Alberts’ squad took a 13-7 record and the fourth seed against fifth-seeded Hitchcock-Tulare last night Tuesday in regional play.  The winner of that game plays the winner of the contest between top-seeded Waubay-Summit and Leola-Frederick in semifinal play on Thursday to determine a SoDak 16 berth.
