MC COMMISSION: ROAD WEIGHT LIMIT, REZONE

MC COMMISSION: ROAD WEIGHT LIMIT, REZONE

The Marshall County Commissioners met Tuesday morning, approving several highway, zoning and personnel items.
Highway Superintendent Dustin Hofland presented a county road weight limit resolution for paved roads, which commissioners approved. Hofland said the limits will be applied as necessary during the spring thaw.
In zoning matters, the commission held the second reading and adopted revised zoning regulations under Ordinance No. 75. Commissioners also approved the first reading of Ordinance No. 76, a rezone request for Timothy Steiner in Lake Township.
The board approved a Local Emergency Management Performance Grant reimbursement form and granted dispatcher Kiera Bennett a 50 cent per hour raise following her E911 dispatcher certification.
Two brief executive sessions were held for personnel matters.
