HIPPOLOGY CLUB 'OFF TO RACES'

    Six horse loving young ladies will be working hard for the next four months to learn all about horses, in preparation for several 4-H Hippology contests.
    Alison Kottke and Lily Mundt of Britton will be starting their first year in the Senior division of competition. They will be working with Dickey County seniors Emma Rodine and Hannah Woodruff to compete as a team in the Senior division of Hippology and Quiz Bowl.
    The junior/intermediate team will be made up of Daphne Bosse, Laura Delahoyde, Ella Ingvalson (Britton) and Alice Hopkins. They will be concentrating on learning all about Equine breeds/colors, tack, external anatomy, internal anatomy, disciplines, and equine health.
    Hippology has teams compete in four divisions: stations, tests, judging and team problem. Coaches for the teams are Christine Bopp, Jacy Bopp and Julie Hassebroek.
