LOCAL INTERPERS FARE WELL AT STATE
Britton-Hecla’s oral interp team received a sweet send off with cookies before the State Festival last week where they earned many superiors and a Team Excellence Award.     The Britton-Hecla Oral Interpretation team earned strong results at the State Oral Interpretation Festival held over the weekend in Watertown. The group received a Team Excellence Award after receiving multiple superior ratings.
    Senior Paisley Bray closed her final season with three superior medals, including one in poetry. Carter Chapin earned a superior in storytelling, while Baylee Bender received a superior in oratory. Bray and Chapin also earned a superior rating together in the duo division. Charles Schuller earned a superior in the humorous category, and Amelia Ingvalson, Chapin, and Bray received a superior in readers theatre.
    Langford Area’s Daniel Jesz also earned a superior in the storytelling division and competed in humorous.
