LANGFORD SNOW QUEENS CROWNED

Langford Area crowned their Snow Queens this past Sunday. Grace Hatfield, daughter of Nellie and Jeremy Hatfield, pictured left, was named Langford Area Snow Queen, and Josie VanderVorst, daughter of Natalie Anderson-Janot and Sky Janot and Jeremiah VanderVorst, was named Langford Area Junior Snow Queen. The new queens will compete in Aberdeen at the state Snow Queen Festival in January. The South Dakota Junior Snow Queen will be crowned on Jan. 3, and the state Snow Queen will begin her reign on Jan. 10, with both events taking place at the Aberdeen Civic Theater.
