GA AWARDS GIVEN

    Groton Area football players were recognized last week with end-of-season awards.
    Receiving most valuable player honors were Keegen Tracy, offensive MVP; Tucker Hardy, defensive MVP; and Karter Moody, lineman MVP.  Logan Warrington was named the most improved offensive player and Lincoln Krause was the most improved on defense.
    Tracy, Hardy, and Ryder Johnson were Northeast All-Conference picks with Moody and Warrington honorable mention selections.  Tracy was also an All-State honorable mention pick.  Earning spots on the 11B All-State Academic Team were Johnson, Tracy, Warrington, Moody, and Ben Hoeft.  Tracy was the recipient of the Richard Duerre Football Scholarship and Tom Woods received a Friend of Football certificate.
    Letterwinners for the 2025 campaign were:
    Seniors – Keegen Tracy, Lincoln Krause, Ryder Johnson, Conner Glines, Julian Rodriguez, Tristin McGannon, Ben Hoeft, Tucker Hardy, Logan Warrington, Gavin Englund, and Karter Moody.        Juniors – Brody Lord, Blake Lord, Gavin Kroll, and Isaiah Scepaniak.
    Sophomores – Ryder Schelle, Layne Johnson, TC Schuster, Braeden Fliehs, Gunner Hardy, Hunter Aden, Alex Abeln, and Karson Zak.
    Freshmen – Asher Johnson, Anthony Tracy, Jordan Schwan, Case Reints, Keegan Woltjer, and Zach Fiehs.
    Student Managers – Booker Hardy, Boston Kurth, Keenan Moody, and Rowan Hanson (water girl).
