HAMLIN SWEEPS NET SQUAD
B-H senior Taryn Kraft dug out this ball in recent volleyball action. The Lady Braves wrap up regular season play on Tuesday with the Region 1A tournament starting Nov. 3.

Britton-Hecla’s volleyball squad ran into a tough Hamlin squad in its only action of the past week, losing in three sets to the 16-4 Chargers.
The Lady Braves took an 11-11 season mark into a match with Great Plains Lutheran last night Tuesday, host Clark-Willow Lake for Parents Night on Friday, and wrap up their regular season schedule at Wilmot on Tuesday.  Region 1A tournament action gets underway on Monday, Nov. 3.
The B-H junior varsity squad did win a tournament title at Northwestern on Saturday, winning the Silver Division crown after being swept by Groton Area and rebounding with a sweep over Leola-Frederick in pool play.  The young Lady Braves swept Waverly-South Shore and Aberdeen Christian to win their division.
B-H just wasn’t able to get untracked against Hamlin, dropping sets of 25-11, 25-12, and 25-7.
“Hamlin was a tough game for us,” said B-H coach Jenna Peters.  “They ran a super quick offense that we struggled to defend and we struggled offensively as well.”
