Coach Jenna Peters’ squad took an 8-8 season mark into a match at Sisseton last night Tuesday. Milbank comes to town on Thursday and the Lady Braves play Waubay-Summit in Waubay on Tuesday.

F-H 17-21-25-18
B-H was in control for most of the first two sets but Florence-Henry battled the Lady Braves in the second two sets.
Jaelee Grupe and Airiana Buer both served a pair of aces to open the match and give the local netters a jump start and an 8-1 lead. F-H did cut the margin to 12-10 but the Lady Braves responded with a 9-3 run to take charge. Set two followed a similar pattern with Karlie Zuehlke pounding back-to-back kills and Grupe getting a pair of aces and a kill to spot B-H to a 13-5 advantage. F-H did claw back to 23-21 but a missed serve and a Grupe kill to the corner ended the set.
Set three was tied at 10-all but the visitors scored six straight and B-H could not dig out of that 16-10 hole. It looked like the Lady Braves would run away with the deciding set, taking a 16-6 lead behind three kills from Maddi Micko, two from Chellon Pruitt, and an ace and kill each from Daynika Zuehlke and Grupe. But the Falcons went on a 12-4 run to cut the deficit to 20-18 before Pruitt, Micko, and Grupe recorded kills and Airiana Buer an ace to put away the match.
Grupe finished with 17-20 from the service line with eight aces and also led the team at the net with 35-38 and 11 kills. Karlie Zuehlke added 10 kills.
