PRECISION WALL CLOSING LATE 2025

Britton Company Has Been Open Since 2003
PRECISION WALL CLOSING LATE 2025
Precision Wall Systems announced it will close its Britton facility at 102 Vander Horck Street in December 2025, impacting about 20 employees. The company, which opened in Britton in 2003, will consolidate operations with its Rogers, Minn., plant.

Britton will lose a longtime manufacturing business at the end of 2025. Precision Wall Systems has announced that its Britton location, at 102 Vander Horck Street on the city’s east side, will close operations in December.
The company, founded in 1998, is a Midwest manufacturer of wall panels for residential and commercial construction. Precision Wall opened its Britton facility in 2003 and later became part of US LBM Holdings, LLC through a 2015 acquisition, along with Truss Pros and Britton Home Center (now Scott’s Lumber). The business also operates a plant in Rogers, Minn., which will absorb the Britton production.
Chrystal Ensey, vice president of corporate communication for US LBM, released the following statement:
“Precision Wall Systems, a family-owned business that began over 27 years ago and opened this Britton location in 2003, holds a meaningful place in US LBM’s company history as a trusted resource for builders, contractors, and homeowners in the Britton community.
After careful consideration we made the decision to consolidate this facility with our wall panel plant in Rogers, Minnesota. Our customers and suppliers will continue to have full access to our products and services. For our 20 Britton location employees, we have personally shared the news as well as the option of staying with us through December when the closing is completed. We are actively working with our staff to place them in open positions at the start of the new year.
This was not an easy decision, but a necessary one to strengthen our operational efficiency and better serve our broader customer base. To the entire Britton community and our loyal customers – thank you for letting us be a part of your home and building projects over the past 27 years.”
The closing impacts about 20 employees. Ensey noted that US LBM is working with staff to find open positions elsewhere in the company.
Before Precision Wall occupied the building, the location was home to Sheldahl Inc., which closed in 2001 after filing for bankruptcy.
