STORYBOOK LAND THEATRE IN EDEN, LANGFORD

STORYBOOK LAND THEATRE IN EDEN, LANGFORD

Storybook Land Theatre of Aberdeen is hitting the road again this summer, bringing its lively production of Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical! to communities across the Dakotas—including two local performances.
The touring cast will stop in Eden on Saturday, Aug. 9 for a 10 a.m. show at the ball park, with a pre-show starting at 9:30 a.m. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for this free, family-friendly event.
The group will also perform on Sunday, Aug. 10 at 5:30 p.m. in Langford’s Park of the Pines (rain location: Legion Hall). Langford’s Sunday Funday Food Trucks, featuring Incredible Edibles, will be serving from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., so plan to come early, grab a meal, and enjoy an evening in the park.
Based on the popular book by Mo Willems, the musical follows the determined Pigeon who’s told he can’t drive the bus—but he’s not giving up that easily. The production features catchy songs, energetic performances, and plenty of laughs for all ages.
Now in its 38th season, Storybook Land Theatre is a program of Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry, co-sponsored by the Aberdeen Community Theatre’s Young People’s Theatre. The summer tour is part of the group’s mission to share the magic of live theater beyond Aberdeen.
