ANOTHER SEASON OF NORTHERN FORT PLAYHOUSE SET

    Northern Fort Playhouse will showcase its talents at historic Fort Sisseton for an exciting 19th season.
    Northern Fort Playhouse will kick off its performances on July 11 with “Vanities... A New Musical” and “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” The performance schedule includes “Vanities... A New Musical” on Friday, July 11, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, July 13, at 2 p.m., as well as Friday, July 25, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, July 19, at 7:30 p.m. “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” will be performed on Saturday, July 12, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, July 18, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, July 20, at 2 p.m. The final performances on Saturday, July 26, will feature “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” at both 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”
    This musical brings Charles Schulz’s iconic Peanuts characters to life through a series of lighthearted vignettes that follow Charlie Brown and his friends through the ups and downs of everyday life. With playful songs, humor, and heartfelt moments, the show captures the innocence and charm of childhood. A revised version adds fresh music, dialogue, and a modern flair while preserving the original’s sweet spirit.
“Vanities: A New Musical”
    Set against the backdrop of the 1960s and ‘70s, this musical follows three close-knit Texas girls as they grow from high school cheerleaders into women navigating friendship, identity, and societal change. Through humor and heart, “Vanities” traces their evolving relationships and personal growth in a rapidly changing world.

Drop in or call anytime between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tickets will also be available for sale in the South Barracks one hour prior to the start of the shows.
