TEN LANGFORD AREA LIONS EARN DIPLOMAS
The Langford Area graduating class had three honor students year who were also the commencement speakers. From left to right are Jordis Jenner, Eliana Darling and Jacob Samson.

    Honor students Jordis Jenner, Eliana Darling and Jacob Samson gave a Senior Honor Presentation titled, “A Class of Quotes.” The speakers read through a book of quotes that their class started while in Elementary school. They also shared the future plans of each graduate. The group ended their speech with the school’s famous quote ‘It’s a great day to be a Lion!’
    Superintendent Shad Storley shared the story of the Seniors pulling off a prank with the help of his wife Missy Storley. The group of ten showed up unexpectedly at his house for supper one evening. The LA’s leader teared up several times, and ended his speech with this, “Go stand out for impact, not for attention.” 
    Storley also presented seniors with their diplomas while Board President Jennifer Gustafson presented the students with scholarship awards. This year over 27 scholarships were awarded to the LA senior class members.
    Superintendent Storley recognized honor students and presented the Class of 2025, Senior Class President Ryder Smith gave the welcome, the Langford Area Choir performed a vocal selection, “Truly Brave,” and the LA Concert Band played, “Jenny,” and the Processional and Recessional.
